Mrs. Palmer’s Honey is an eight part audio play based on the 1946 novel by Fannie Cook. The radio drama was adapted by playwright Cassandra Medley and directed by Kathryn Bentley, with original music by Colin McLaughlin. The audio play and Closer Still: The Music of Mrs. Palmer’s Honey were both produced by Bread & Roses Missouri, a St. Louis nonprofit that uses an arts lens to examine social and economic justice issues.
